About Us

Taylor Farm is a 45 acre facility located in Hurricane, West Virginia, about 20 miles from Charleston, our State Capitol. We have a total of 40 stalls, an 80 x 160 indoor arena, an indoor and outdoor round pen, and a large outdoor slide track. Cattle are also available for those wishing to give their horse an introduction to cow work.

Woody and Kathy successfully show in the Open classes and offer a full range of services including training, sales, evaluation and instruction for the Youth and Non Pro rider. Woody and Kathy have multiple World Championship titles to their credit as well as NRHA top ten finishes and many local affiliate year end titles.

Our assistant is Nick Nelson. Nick is a very talented rider who has a special gift for starting colts the right way and bringing them on to reach their full potential. Nick is the 2006 OVRHA Limited Open and Rookie Professional champion and finished 5th in 2006 on the NRHA Top Ten list in Rookie Professional on "Top This Rooster" owned by Lagle & Savage.
